Southwestern Toad, March 15, 2012 at 08:04 PM
Common Name: Southwestern Toad
Scientific Name: Anaxyrus microscaphus
Creator: Colver, Kevin J.
Notes: The next morning 2 toads were found dead and partly eaten in the creek, racoon tracks were present. On this track, at about 6 minutes, a small animal is heard walking through the stream, this might be the racoon. The toads quiet down for awhile. Another splash is heard about 9 minutes, perhaps the racoon hunting toads.
