    Notes: Frogs were nearly silent most of two evenings except for this brief combined chorus during which the entire pond seemed to throb with their rhythmic snoring calls. The ripples in the pond extending out from the bank where the frogs were calling added to the effect of the pond throbbing. The ripples were created by the vibrating vocal sacs.
