Description: Afternoon recording in a cottonwood grove in western Montana
Notes: The temperature was above 90 degrees Fahrenheit, winds were calm; there were thunder clouds in distance. Bird calls were sparse. There was occasional distant noise from vehicles.
Location: Flying D Ranch; Gallatin County (Mont.); Montana
Recording Equipment: Sound Devices 722 recorder with MKH30 and MKH40 microphones in a stereo MS arrangement
