Description: The faint chuckling calls of relict leopard frogs are joined intermittently by the louder, bleating calls of canyon treefrogs. Frogs call in a narrow canyon at approximately 10 PM
Notes: Relict leopard frogs are considered "Endangered" by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), and are candidates for listing under the United States Endangered Species Act; their range is currently restricted to a few small areas in Nevada and Arizona; Air temperature was 19.8 degrees Celsius, winds were less than 2kmph, cloud cover was 0%, and the water temperature was 5 degrees Celsius; Recordings were made using Sennheiser MKH30 and MKH40 microphones recording in an MS pattern to a Sound Devices 722 recorder; Sampling rate was 24 bit/44.1 kHz; Local Time: 10:00 PM
